We encourage your family to explore and connect with the VAIS-affiliated independent schools in Hampton Roads during this FREE one-day event. It’s a great opportunity to learn how an independent school offers strong academics, competitive athletics, leadership opportunities and more!
Representatives from participating infant through Grade 12 schools will be sharing their approaches to teaching and learning. Your family will have the opportunity to meet in person with multiple schools and gain a better sense that willgreat places for your child to thrive in school and beyond.
Workshops will be offered in parenting and investing as well!
A LITTLE BIT ABOUT US
The Independent School Fair is comprised of nine Virginia Association of Independent Schools (VAIS)-affiliated independent schools in Hampton Roads. For the first time, these schools are coming together to offer families a unique opportunity to learn about the schools in one convenient location.
Our schools are accredited through VAIS and many offer need-based financial assistance for our families.
WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT?
Each school will have their admissions team on hand to answer your questions and help you navigate the admissions process at their schools.

Chesapeake Bay Academy
Chesapeake Bay Academy is the only K-12 co-educational independent day school in Virginia Beach dedicated to serving students with a variety of learning differences.
Christopher Academy, founded in 1970, is an independent, nonsectarian school for preschool through fifth grade
