VAIS is hosting a Facilitator Workshop to train those who want to deliver the Stewards of Children training program to adults in their school and community. Facilitators model the core principals of Stewards of Children in their community by talking opening about child sexual abuse and engaging adults in conversation.
WHY BECOME A FACILITATOR?
Typically a person becomes trained as a facilitator for the following reasons:
• Work or volunteer for an organization that wants to hold regular Stewards of Children training sessions to train all the school's staff and
• Want to start or be involved in a prevention initiative in the community and offer the Stewards of Children training program
to a variety of individuals and organizations

NOTE: This is a FULL day training. You must stay for the 7 hours of instruction to receive the facilitator CE credit by the National Association of Social Workers (NASW)

$450 per person for training materials + $45 for continental breakfast/lunch and administrative expenses (Total cost pp: $495)
Each registrant must register for both:
1. $450 is paid through the Darkness to Light registration link. (This is the official location to receive your facilitator confirmation.)
2. $45 through the VAIS Participant Link above. (This is for continental breakfast, lunch and speaker travel.)
