Mission / Philosophy / Objectives:

Our Mission

We provide an inspirational and challenging student-centered learning environment within our diverse and supportive community where children question, collaborate, create, and lead.

Igniting the spark in young learners to become great thinkers and leaders who will positively impact our world.

At Congressional School, we are committed to maintaining a safe, inclusive and nurturing year-round learning environment where students are intellectually challenged unimpeded by orthodox or conventional constraints.

We encourage independent thinkers and learners by establishing high academic standards and opportunities to excel in the fine arts, on the athletic fields, and through a varied selection of stimulating clubs and activities.  A successful Congressional student graduates from our school with strong leadership characteristics, an ethical disposition, and possessing a strong desire to continually, and respectfully, question and learn.

As we prepare students for a rapidly changing and challenging world, we also encourage them to live in the present, enjoy each and every aspect of their journey, take risks, leverage the vast resources available to them, and to respect and enjoy their natural surroundings.

At Congressional, we celebrate our holistic approach toward educating, nurturing and guiding students to understand their limitless potential.  Our strong foundation will prepare students to live a life of constant learning using their talents and the values they have attained to make the world a better place.
