This year's Admission, Communication & Marketing Conference 2020 will be hosted at Madeira School in McLean, VA. For this conference, VAIS in collaboration with the Association of Independent School Admission Professionals (AISAP) brings together national experts to support the efforts of admissions and marketing/communications teams in VAIS schools. We are pleased to be working with AISAP, an association that addresses the professional concerns of independent and private school admission and enrollment management officers both nationally and internationally. With a shifting landscape, it is always good to keep abreast of national trends, data and effective approaches to telling and marketing the unique story of each school.

April 27, Keynoter:
Simon Noakes, Founder and CEO, Interactive Schools
Originally from High Wycombe, England, Simon is a digital comms geek, strategic tech incubator, creative wannabe, 80's music playlister! Simon is at the cutting edge of marketing and communications within the international education sector. He is an expert in strategic marketing, thought leadership, social media, brand value, and innovative thinking. He does not follow benchmarks. Success can only be delivered through creating new benchmarks and #inspiringschools.
Simon believes that every school is unique, and wants to help tell their #SchoolStories. He continues to be a beacon in the implementation of effective marketing strategies, and has been credited with increasing engagement & brand reach of some of the world’s leading Independent Schools.
Simon is a regular speaker and contributor on the subject of digital marketing, social media and mobile apps - and is a key driver in the #FutureSchool.

Angie Jackson, Positioning Strategist, Crane, Atlanta
Angie is a cross-channel advertising expert with a degree in communications from Indiana University and 15 years in educational marketing. In her tenure with CRANE, Angie has achieved impressive results for more than 100 institutions. Over half of these partnerships included either campaign consultation or philanthropy support. Her experience is supplemented by Angie’s profound sense of purpose—every decision she makes is attuned to the central question of “To what end?” Her insight, pragmatism, and contagious energy make Angie a natural at ensuring that good ideas turn into functioning solutions that reach the right audiences.
Mark Bryant, Chief Executive, The Incrementum Group, LLC
Mark brings extensive expertise in Internet marketing and revenue generation to The Incrementum Group, LLC. His industry experience as both a marketer and a technologist enables Mark to develop focused, results driven campaigns for our clients.
Prior to founding The Incrementum Group, he was Vice President of Business Development and Strategy for MVP.com. Mark developed and managed new revenue channels and helped develop on-line marketing strategies for what was at the time the largest Internet Sporting Goods retailer. Prior to this role, Mark was a founding member and Vice President of Merchandising for BigEdge.com, an e-commerce retailer which was purchased by MVP.com.
Prior to his life in the Internet Marketing world, Mark spent 10 years in Management Consulting with Accenture (formerly Andersen Consulting) in the Global Retail Practice. While at Accenture, he worked with Fortune 500 retail clients to develop and implement effective merchandising and advertising strategies.
The combination of Mark’s Internet and Marketing Strategy background provide invaluable knowledge to clients.
